The Columbus Book Project: Branding
THE COLUMBUS BOOK PROJECT: EXPERTLY TOLD. VISUALLY STUNNING. The Columbus Book Project is a collective of notable photographers, artists, designers, writers, and brands rolled into two stunning, full-color coffee-table books, with over 500 pages of visuals and stories. The Columbus Book Project brings Columbus into the forefront of art and style with its thoughtful editorials, bold fashion spreads, rich color, textures, and cultural diversity. We are proud of our city and want to celebrate its growing businesses, art, and culture. Over 200 people contributed their own unique perspective of the city, adding breadth to the vision, story, and heart of our books. My contributions as a lead designer to the project has been to shape the overall design language of the spreads, creating a common thread that connects each story to the visuals (photography, typography & illustrations) and how they are represented throughout the books. For this project I've created the story spreads, illustrations, logo/branding, & overall style for the artist pages.
